    MAST Carbon has appointed a new management team to market and sell products developed by us in the biomedical sectors. The operation is a joint venture between MAST Carbon International and Second Mile Ltd., Second Mile specialise in providing sector specialist senior managers with a proven track record of new business launches. The new company is called Acesco Health

    Dr Alan Stuttle will be leading the new venture as the Managing Director. Alan has wide ranging experience of early stage companies in the healthcare sector. He has been the founder and CEO of two companies. One of these operates in the pharmaceutical arena (medicinal chemistry) with a global customer base whilst the other is a biotechnology company (immune system modulation) with a subsidiary in Asia Pacific. Alan has previously managed an equity and investment portfolio covering medtech, pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He is an accomplished negotiator with experience of licensing, M&A, IP protection and exploitation. Alan is experienced in identifying, developing and implementing effective commercial strategies.

  • MAST Carbon moves!

    We have moved from Our old facility at Henley Park due to redevelopment of the site by the owners.

    Moving to Our new base (address below) has given us the opportunity to redesign and modernise our laboratories and production space which we believe will be a great asset into the future. The new facility is managed by ITT Industries and contained within a secure perimeter.

    We welcome visits by our customers, partners and suppliers, however we now need 24hrs notice to obtain clearnce from site security .

  • Automotive Supercapacitors

    We are excited to announce the start of a new FP7 program AUTOSUPERCAP.

    Working with European partners under the FP7 collaborative research program MAST Carbon will be developing High Energy / High Power Density Supercapacitors for Automotive Applications.

  • Blue Sky Energy Project : CAPMIX

    MAST Carbon has been invited to participate in a novel energy generation research program, CAPMIX, funded by the European Union under the FP7 Framework program.

    This blue sky concept is to utilise the salinity variations where fresh and sea water mix in tidal estuaries. The power generation is to be achieved by using specialised capacitor type devices. The process would have minimal environmental impact compared with other tidal power generation schemes.
